The Warner Lab is studying the influence of early life adversity can become biologic embedded to influence longer term neurocognitive and mental health outcomes. We are specifically examining the contribution of the human gut microbiome to inflammation and immune alterations as part of the Early life Adversity and Biologic Embedding (eLABE) study https://eedp.wustl.edu/research/elabe-study/.
Our lab seeks a research technician to assist senior laboratory personnel in processing and archiving of biological samples, participate in DNA extractions and other assigned laboratory work. Strong candidates will have experience in biologic laboratory skills with interests in biomedical research. This position is an in-person, hourly paid position; more details can be found on the job post. This opportunity may be especially well-suited for recent WashU graduates taking a gap year.
