To promote outstanding undergraduate research, the Office of Undergraduate Research offers financial support in the form of Undergraduate Research Awards. Undergraduates from all academic backgrounds involved in research are welcome to apply for funding but must seek nomination from a faculty mentor.
Funding awards are not typically given to students doing research during the academic year when they may receive academic credit for their work. Students seeking research funding during the academic year should make an appointment to speak with someone in the Office of Undergraduate Research. Academic year awards may be given to fund conference-related travel.
